At the media conference, the Minister of Health also stated that on the 3rd of October, 2,508 individuals have received the COVID-19 vaccine injection.
According to Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Doctor Haji Awang Mohd Isham bin Haji Jaafar, under the National Vaccination Programme, 304,668 individuals have received the first doses of the COVID-19 vaccine which is 67.2 percent of the total population. Meanwhile, 199,674 individuals have completed the second doses of the COVID-19 vaccine which is 44 percent from the total population. As announced in the media conference on 29th September 2021, the Ministry of Health has opened additional vaccination time every Sunday specifically for employees in local companies commencing Sunday, 3rd October 2021 at the Indoor Stadium Vaccination Centre.
Companies wishing to book their vaccination slots at the additional vaccination time can book via WhatsApp only, at 812 9148, 813 9148, 818 9148 and 814 6148; or via email to 'vacc.comp@moh.gov.bn'. Bookings for Sunday, 9th October 2021 will be opened, starting on Tuesday, 5th October 2021. The booking terms and conditions will be uploaded on the Ministry of Health's website.
