At the media conference, the Minister of Health also shared that on 16th of October 2021, a total of 8 thousand 22 individuals have received the COVID-19 vaccine injection. That means, under the National Vaccination Programme, a total of 341,702 individuals have received the first doses of the COVID-19 vaccine which is 75.3 per cent of the total population. Meanwhile, 230,863 individuals have completed the second doses of the COVID-19 vaccine which is 50.9 per cent of the total population.

The Ministry of Health also informed that the Mobile COVID-19 Vaccination Clinic services will be conducted at Lamunin Health Centre, Tutong for three days, starting on 18th until 21st of October 2021 from 9:00 in the morning until 2:30 in the afternoon, especially for residents of Mukim Lamunin and its surroundings. Pengiran Anak Puteri Hajah Rashidah Sa'adatul Bolkiah Health Centre, Kampung Sungai Asam on Friday, 22nd of October 2021 and Sunday, 24th of October 2021 from 9:00 in the morning until 2:30 in the afternoon, especially for residents of Kampong Ayer and its surroundings. Meanwhile, the vaccination services to houses will be conducted on Saturday, 23 October 2021 according to the list provided by the Village Head. The local community who wish to get the COVID-19 vaccination can come directly by walk-in by bringing along their identification card/passport as well as BruHIMS card or number, if available. For those who are unable to attend on their own to the health centres due to health problems or limited movement, they can register or be registered through the Village Head for vaccination arrangements at their respective homes.

Meanwhile, outcome from the multi-agencies enforcement monitoring that was carried out last night during the out-of-house restriction from 8 last night until 4 in the morning, a total of 16 violations of the directive nationwide were issued with compound fines, where 12 of them are violations of the out-of-house restriction.
