With the detection of the new cases, 15 local cases are reported. Investigations are currently being conducted to identify the cause of infection for three of the cases. While, 67 active cases are currently being treated at the National Isolation Centre.
Following the rise in COVID-19 cases, the Ministry of Health advice members of the public who have signs of infection, specifically those who are likely to be exposed to any clusters to immediately seek treatment and undergo the SARS-CoV-2 test at swabbing centres located at Sports Complex of the Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Saleha Hospital; SARI Centre of the Suri Seri Begawan Hospital; Berakas Health Centre; Pengkalan Batu Health Centre; and the Seria Health Centre. The clusters mentioned include the Starlodge Cluster reported on the 7th August, specifically those who have been at Starlodge Hotel in Jerudong between the 27th of July to 7th of August.
