​Course participants of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces Command and Staff Course are advised to be innovative and critical thinkers in facing future challenges and remain resilient as well as capable of addressing contemporary challenges.

Retired Brigadier General Dato Seri Pahlawan Awang Haji Abdul Razak bin Haji Abdul Kadir, Deputy Minister of Defence stated the matter at the closing ceremony of the 12th Royal Brunei Armed Forces, RBAF Command and Staff Course. The ceremony took place this morning at the Defence Academy RBAF.

42 officers have completed the 40-week course. For this year, the RBAF CSC Overall Excellence Award and the Academic Excellence Award were presented to Major Jonathan Edward D’Cruz from the Singapore Armed Forces. The RBAF Commendation Award was given to Dayang Nur Khadijah binti Ramli from the Ministry of Defence and the Commandant’s Award was presented to Major Abdul Aziz bin Haji Razali from the Royal Brunei Land Force. The course jointly organised by the Universiti Brunei Darussalam, UBD was participated by the officers from the RBAF, Royal Brunei Police Force, Ministry of Defence and the Internal Security Department, as well as 15 international participants from 12 countries among them Australia, the People’s Republic of Bangladesh; the Republic of India, the United Kingdom and Malaysia.
