Six students and a teacher represented Brunei Darussalam to the 12th ASEAN Plus Three Student Camp and the 14th ASEAN Plus Three Teacher Workshop for the Gifted in Science. The 5-day camp and workshop was held online from 7th to 15th January 2023.

The programmes carried the themes "Learning Together through Online Inquiry" and “Preparing Students for the Future" respectively. During the workshop, Brunei A and Brunei B teams respectively won the Bronze Medal for the Best Presentation Award. Brunei A team also won the Culture Night Award. In the individual category, Ting Pei Tong from Brunei B team won the medal for Outstanding Student Award, while Joshua Hung Ji Chien from Brunei A team was selected to receive the Mascot Contest Award medal.
